Welcome to the gallery of the Hull Trinity House Academy Art Department.

Founded in 1787, we are a well-established, comprehensive secondary school situated in the city centre of Hull.  Hull Trinity House Academy remains very proud of its history and traditions and our motto 'Spes Super Sydera' (Hope beyond the Stars) still clearly sums up our Academy's aims.

Hull Trinity House Academy has 80% of our students gaining a grade 4 or above in both Maths and English and 60% achieving a grade 5 or above, the strong pass, in both subjects. Across all subjects, 23% of students achieved at least one grade 9 and 5% of students received five or more grade 9s.

During Art in KS3, students are able to develop their confidence in the subject and work in their own style, with a range of skills and techniques at their disposal.

As students’ progress to KS4, we teach a combination of GCSE fine art and photography. We look at topics such as surrealism and portraiture and we work with different types of media including photoshop, mixed media, drawing and painting. In this gallery you can find the very best examples of students work produced in their lessons.
